![]() I suspect that mx toolbox is just not upto date on this. the is that of the ControlEmail product (formerly GFI MailEssentials Online). They aren't on any blacklists anymore (it's been 7 days now) they have a valid spf record so what else can be done? I've tried getting in touch with GFI but not being a customer that's a difficult task, we've also asked the end users to get in touch with their providers but it's not really in their interest to go out of their way for what they see as someone else's problem. They don't receive NDR's, the end user doesn't receive the email, no spam notification nothing they just disappear. ![]() I submitted requests and got them removed from all the blacklists and within a day or two they were back up and running with one exception, they cannot send email to anyone using GFI Software hosted email as their provider, we've discovered two completely different companies so far. The site got shutdown pretty fast by the hosting company but the damage had been done, they were on 5 blacklists and struggled to send any emails. ![]() It turns out it never got looked at or patched, anyway. I have a customer who created their own website, they only wanted a basic web presence so they used WordPress and a nice looking theme.įast forward 8 months, their site got hijacked due to a vulnerability in one of the dozen plugins and sent a lot of spam.
